As a system designer turned fibre sculpture, Stephanie has developed a unique perspective when it comes to animal sculpture. Influenced by an instinctive empathy with animals and her logical systematic mind, she brings what appears to be conflicting approaches together to produce her own Garden of Eden!

Stephanie’s CV reads like someone with a low boredom threshold and the same could be said of her creative nature and digestion of every craft book in waterstones (pre internet) to learn another skill. All of these roles and skills were necessary to bring her to this point and to support her in her chosen path as an artist.

Stephanie not only sell’s her sculptures but promotes the relatively new art form of fibre sculpture through galleries, art shows and competitions. Her personal artistic quest is to “share a moment in the life of…”
