Tosca Lahiri, The Wicked Artist, is an abstract expressionist painter who creates soulful, vibrant and energetic original art in her own distinctive style.
Exploring the ideas around becoming untamed, Tosca’s art asks, who were you before you conformed to expectations.
“We spend so much time in the digital world,” explains Tosca, “that we forget how to get messy, be wild and appreciate imperfection.”
For many of us spending too much time online masks underlying symptoms of “taming”. Tosca ‘s art practise is very much about the process of creating art, as well as the paintings themselves. It is in this duality that the ideas of what traps us are explored and how we then free ourselves.
